Trinseo Hamina 1 MWP
Trinseo, which manufactures latex binders at its Hamina plant, decided to invest in a solar power facility to reduce the factory’s carbon dioxide emissions. Terawatt acted as the electrical contractor for the solar park.

The solar park has a peak capacity of approximately 1 MWp and was built on a sand-covered field. In the project, Terawatt’s installers connected the panels, built the panel strings, and cabled them to the inverters. All mounting systems and structures of the solar park were carefully grounded. In addition, feeder cables were run from the inverter to the electrical switchboard, utilizing the factory’s existing structures. Wisol Oy was responsible for the site’s earthworks and mechanical installations and also acted as Terawatt’s main contractor. Helen Oy served as the developer of the solar park.
