The Terawatt story
Terawatt’s story began in 2004, when brothers Jussi and Aapo Holma founded the company. Shortly thereafter, Hannes Kokko joined the team. Through hard work—and with a bit of good fortune—the company has grown over the past 20 years into one of the leading players in the industry and today employs more than 120 professionals.
Over the years, Terawatt has had several owners, each contributing to the company’s development in their own way. We have been part of the Kastelli family, the Harjavalta Group, and for a period the Lapti Group under the name Laptitec. In 2020, Terawatt’s employees acquired the company from Lapti and continued electrical contracting as an independent operator, while also restoring the familiar Terawatt name for customers.
In the autumn of 2024, a new chapter in our story began when we became part of the Habeo Group. Habeo provides us with a strong foundation for our future plans, while allowing us to retain our own local, entrepreneurial way of working. We firmly believe that we will be here for the next 20 years as well.
